Warning strike - DB Regio sets up emergency timetable for its lines in NRW
Following the call for a warning strike by the train drivers' union GDL, Deutsche Bahn has also drawn up an emergency timetable for its regional services in North Rhine-Westphalia. Due to the warning strike, there will be massive timetable changes to DB's regional services in North Rhine-Westphalia, the company announced. Only a greatly reduced service is possible, said a spokeswoman for Deutsche Bahn NRW. There could be restrictions even before the start of the warning strike. The information systems bahn.de/reiseauskunft, zuginfo.nrw and the DB Navigator app will be constantly updated.
As can be seen from a DB Regio overview of timetable changes to its regional express trains, regional trains and suburban trains in NRW for the strike period from Thursday, 10 p.m. to Friday, 10 p.m., many lines will not be running. Others will run with restrictions. According to DB Regio's customer information, a few lines are expected to run without restrictions.
