Stock exchange in Frankfurt - Dax up slightly at the start

The stagnation on the German stock market continued on Thursday. The DAX index did rise slightly in early trading, but the latest price spread of around 18,000 to nearly 18,400 points has persisted. Investors may hold back before the US consumption and price data coming up on Friday, it was reported. The DAX was up 0.2% in the first minutes of trading at 18,192 points. The MDax of medium-sized companies also showed a slight gain of 0.1% at 25,366 participants. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 held its ground as well.

The DAX, which is a key index for the German stock market, is listed on several stock exchanges, including Frankfurt am Main's main stock exchange. On Thursday, despite a slight rise in the early trading, the DAX remained within its recent price range of around 18,000 to nearly 18,400 points. The MDax, a leading index for medium-sized companies in Germany, also saw a minor increase. Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse, or Frankfurt's stock exchange, is an essential platform for trading both the DAX and the MDax.
