Dax stable at the start of trading
The DAX is holding steady at its recent higher level. In early trading, the leading German index was up just 0.03% at 15,233.87 points. The focus was on a flood of quarterly reports with light and shade among the Dax stocks.
In the second tier of the stock market, the indices rose slightly. This was due to many positive reactions to quarterly reports. The MDax recently gained 0.24% to 25,451.90 points. At the same time, the eurozone index EuroStoxx 50 was close to its previous day's level.
The MDAX, a secondary tier of German stock exchanges, saw a slight increase of 0.24%, reaching 25,451.90 points. Amidst the flood of quarterly reports, many Dax stocks had positive reactions in the stock market.
