Dax remains under slight pressure
On Tuesday, the DAX initially continued its somewhat weaker start to the week. On a day with more company reports, stock market participants saw the stock markets, which had risen sharply in the previous week, in consolidation mode. The leading German index fell by 0.19 percent to 15,106.89 points in early trading.
In the second German stock market league, the MDax fell by 0.20 percent to 24,859.62 points. The leading eurozone index, the EuroStoxx 50, was also slightly down. Negative cues came from the Far East, where foreign trade data from China was weak, while Australia's central bank raised its key interest rate. Overall, the recent hopes of fewer burdens from higher interest rates are therefore no longer being nurtured.
The DAX, being the leading German index, followed the trend and experienced a slight decrease, remaining under pressure. Similarly, the MDAX, situated in the second German stock market league, also experienced a minor decline.
