Dax falls slightly
Ahead of inflation signals from the eurozone and the USA, the German stock market is showing restraint. The Dax fell by 0.16 percent to 15,941.74 points in the first few minutes of trading on Tuesday. Data on inflation rates are on the agenda for Wednesday and Thursday.
The MDax of medium-sized companies fell by 0.36 percent to 26,017.81 points. The eurozone index EuroStoxx 50 fell by 0.23 percent to 4344.22 points.
The DAX fall affects not only large companies, as the MDAX, which represents medium-sized enterprises, also decreased by 0.36%. Additionally, the SDAX, which focuses on small and midcap companies within the DAX family, also experienced a slight decline. It's important to note that the downtrend extends to other European markets, including the Eusrostoxx, which includes several stock exchanges in Europe, with Frankfurt being one of them, witnessing similar trends.
