In the morning, the DAX index grew by 0.6%, reaching 18,524 points. The day prior, it had dipped to its weakest point in four weeks at 18,365 points. The MDax, featuring mid-sized companies, increased by 0.3% to 26,872 points. On Wednesday, the EuroStoxx 50, the top index for the eurozone, advanced 0.7%.
