Bundesliga - Darmstadt striker Hornby out for longer

SV Darmstadt 98 will not be able to rely on striker Fraser Hornby for the time being. The 24-year-old Scot will undergo surgery on his ankle, as the Bundesliga promotion contenders announced on Thursday. "We're keeping our fingers crossed for Fraser that the operation goes well and that he can show what he's made of in 2024 after completing his rehab," said Head of Sport Carsten Wehlmann. Hornby has made seven appearances in the Bundesliga so far, but is not a regular for the Lilies and has yet to score a goal.
