Without the recent signing, Guille Bueno, SV Darmstadt 98 is trying to bag their first points of the season in the second division football. The loaned winger from Borussia Dortmund won't be available for the home game against 1. FC Nürnberg on Sunday (13:30 CET, Sky) due to a muscle injury sustained during his time at BVB.

Coach Torsten Lieberknecht of Darmstadt will also be missing another summer signing for the clash with FCN and its coach Miroslav Klose. Sergio López will be out due to thigh issues and is expected to join team practice the following week, just like Bueno.

Despite winning the first round of the DFB-Pokal against Teutonia Ottensen, the Lilies are still under the pump. They suffered losses in their initial two league matches. Coach Lieberknecht commented, "The cup win was great. But that's it. We treated the game seriously, and now it's time for the 2. Bundesliga and 1. FC Nürnberg."

The sky looked gloomy over SV Darmstadt 98's training ground as Coach Lieberknecht discussed their league struggles. With both Guille Bueno and Sergio López sidelined, the Sky is becoming an even more challenging arena for Darmstadt to secure their first points.
