Delivering Goods via Transportation Services - Danube River: Catastrophic Vessel Sinking Incident
On the river Danube, a vessel crashed into the railway bridge's shoreline last Friday evening, as per Regensburg police reports. The incident occurred as the ship was leaving the Bad Abbach lock canal. Luckily, the four crew members emerged unscathed. The incident forced the closure of the Danube at that particular spot until Saturday morning, to allow for the recovery of the damaged tugboat. The Water Rescue Police and about a hundred firefighters were present at the scene. It was reported that the accident was due to a problem with the bow thruster. The police were yet to quantify the magnitude of the damage.
