Volleyball - Danielle Harbin remains loyal to SC Potsdam

The SC Potsdam volleyball players in the Bundesliga can continue to count on the services of their diagonal attacker Danielle Harbin. The 28-year-old American has extended her contract with the Brandenburgerinnen for another year. The club announced this.

Harbin joined the SC Potsdam at the beginning of the previous season from VfB Suhl, was an absolute performance driver there, and eventually became the top scorer of her team. Numerous transfer offers after the season ended were rejected by her. "She feels good here, both humanly and volleyball-wise," says SCP head coach Riccardo Boieri.

The Women's Bundesliga starts on September 28, 2024, into the 2024/25 season. The SC Potsdam is still free from playing on the first matchday and will play its debut match on October 2 against this year's Hauptrunden-Ninth Ladies in Black Aachen.

The Brandenburgerinnen's home game premiere would normally be the following weekend against vice champions Schweriner SC, but the exact date is still not fixed due to problems with hall booking.

Harbin's exceptional volleyball skills will continue to be a crucial factor for SC Potsdam in the upcoming Bundesliga season, as she has committed to play for the Brandenburgerinnen's women's team once again. Despite attractive offers from other clubs, the American prefers to continue her career in Potsdam, where she feels both personally and professionally fulfilled.
