On a bike path along the Geiseltalsee (Saalekreis), a 52-year-old man suffered a severe fall and sustained life-threatening injuries. The cyclist was unresponsive after the fall on Saturday evening, as reported by the police. He was taken to a hospital with injuries including head wounds. He was heading towards Frankleben and fell between the Weinberg and the Klobikauer Height viewpoint.
