A 59-year-old man on a pedelec got into a severe accident when he collided with a car in the Bamberg district. It happened on a priority road in Wattendorf during the late afternoon. Police reported that the cyclist didn't see the car coming, which led to him sustaining serious head injuries. The driver of the car, a 22-year-old, was unscathed in the crash. The injured cyclist was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
