Accident - Cyclist seriously injured in traffic accident
At a traffic accident involving his own E-Bike in Hirz-Maulsbach, in the Altenkirchen district, a man was severely injured. According to police reports communicated on Sunday night, the 72-year-old bicycle rider lost control of his E-Bike on a steep road and fell. The accident occurred early in the Sunday evening. Due to the injuries caused by the fall, the seriously injured man was transported to the hospital by a rescue helicopter.
