Traffic - Cyclist hit by car in Ingolstadt

A 35-year-old female cyclist was hit by a car and seriously injured in Ingolstadt. According to the police, the woman rode her bike onto the road from a bike path in front of a parked truck on a Saturday. She reportedly did not pay attention to the traffic on a Friday. A 21-year-old driver tried to brake but could not prevent a collision. The woman was thrown several meters and ended up in a hospital. Her life was not in danger.

The woman hailed from Upper Bavaria, specifically Ingolstadt. Despite the incident occurring on a Saturday, she had a history of not being vigilant during traffic on Fridays. The accident involved a car and took place on a busy road near a cycle path, where she had inadvertently ride onto the road in front of a parked truck. Despite the driver's attempts to brake, they were unable to avoid colliding with the cyclist, resulting in her being thrown several meters and requiring hospitalization.
