Crowdstrike US Company: 'Problem will be fixed'

The IT issue caused disruptions in numerous companies worldwide, affecting predominantly airlines, but also railway companies, hospitals, broadcasting stations, and supermarkets. At some airports, numerous flights could not take off or land due to IT problems, such as Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).

At BER, the systems could be fully restarted in the late morning, according to a spokesperson. American Airlines in the US reportedly resumed operations safely a short while later.

The IT department of a US-Company, specializing in cybersecurity, like CrowdStrike, was alerted about an IT-Bug affecting Windows systems. The bug was also detected on LinkedIn, causing temporary disruptions in their services. The company's IT team worked diligently to resolve the issue, ensuring minimal impact on its users.
