A twenty-four-year-old intruder was captured by the authorities in Kassel district, while under the influence and napping. The resident of a private house in Bad Karlsfeld discovered the trespasser on a Friday night, holding two bags of grocery items in his hands inside the kitchen, as per police reports.
Following a scuffle, the resident managed to confine the intruder in the kitchen. The intruder retaliated with aggression and pepper spray, leading the resident to reinforce the door with a makeshift barricade. Caught in the kitchen, the twenty-four-year-old is suspected to have indulged in several bottles of liquor.
Upon the arrival of the police, who were called by the resident, they found the intruder unconscious with a blood alcohol level of 4.2 per thousand. He was later taken to a medical facility. Given that this homeless individual was previously linked to other theft cases, he is currently in custody, the police stated. He is facing charges for aggravated burglary.
The intruder's past actions were not limited to this incident; he was previously linked to other theft cases, categorizing him as having a history of such behaviors. Despite his intoxication, the police believed that he intentionally entered the private house to steal, as evidenced by the groceries found in his possession.
