A twenty-four-year-old intruder was captured by the authorities in Kassel district, while under the influence and napping. The resident of a private house in Bad Karlsfeld discovered the trespasser on a Friday night, holding two bags of grocery items in his hands inside the kitchen, as per police reports.
Following a scuffle, the resident managed to confine the intruder in the kitchen. The intruder retaliated with aggression and pepper spray, leading the resident to reinforce the door with a makeshift barricade. Caught in the kitchen, the twenty-four-year-old is suspected to have indulged in several bottles of liquor.
Upon the arrival of the police, who were called by the resident, they found the intruder unconscious with a blood alcohol level of 4.2 per thousand. He was later taken to a medical facility. Given that this homeless individual was previously linked to other theft cases, he is currently in custody, the police stated. He is facing charges for aggravated burglary.
