The unfortunate incident transpired around 10:59 PM on a Monday night, as per the cops, in the harbor region adjacent to Werfthallenstraße. Initial probes suggest that the locomotive was reversing towards Kurt-Schumacher-Bridge when it bumped into a vehicle attempting maneuvers in the track zone.
The 35-year-old worker, situated on the wagon, got trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters managed to extract him and handed him over to paramedics.
