In a fire at an agricultural operation in the Landkreis Ansbach district, several cows were injured. Initial estimates suggest that the damage is in the seven-figure range, according to a police spokesperson.

The fire started for unknown reasons in a barn filled with straw bales in a municipality of Wasserrüden. The flames spread to the adjacent cow shed, leading to the evacuation of the building. Firefighting efforts continued. No humans were injured, the spokesperson said.

The Commission was informed about the extensive damage caused by the fire, including the injury of several cows. Subsequently, the Commission initiated an investigation into the possible causes of the fire in Wasserrüden.
