Couple stabbed in Loitz: son in custody
A 30-year-old man is suspected of stabbing his parents in Loitz in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald. According to initial findings, he argued with them on Tuesday evening and then stabbed them with a knife. The mother called the police herself after the attack and described the events, the Neubrandenburg police headquarters announced on Wednesday. The parents - reportedly in their mid-50s and early 60s - were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and underwent emergency surgery. They are now out of danger. The son suspected of the crime was taken into custody. All those involved are reportedly German.
