- Cottbus's Hajrulla is given a suspension for two matchdays.

Lower-league team Energie Cottbus will be lacking Romarjo Hajrulla for the upcoming two cup matches at a state or national level. The 25-year-old forward from Lusatia received a sending off during the 1-3 cup loss against Werder Bremen last Monday, subsequently getting banned by the German Football Association's disciplinary committee for rough play. Both the player and club have accepted the decision.

Hajrulla saw the red card in the 78th minute following a slide tackle into Werder Bremen's goalkeeper, Michael Zetterer, with an extended leg. Consequently, he'll definitely miss Energie's second-round cup game in the state cup. The team will take on regional league side Babelsberg 03 on September 7/8 weekend. This is a replay of last season's cup final, which Cottbus won 3-1 at home.

Energie Cottbus will unfortunately be without Romarjo Hajrulla in their upcoming state cup match against Babelsberg 03, as he is serving a suspension due to his sending off in the previous cup game against Werder Bremen. Despite the absence of their top scorer, Soccer fans are still looking forward to an exciting game, as it's a replay of last season's cup final where Cottbus triumphed 3-1.
