The Fire department of Mönchengladbach, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, participated in the Santa Claus surprise campaign for the second time, following in the footsteps of the Fire department in Hamburg. This year, the children and young people at the Mönchengladbach hospital received presents from firefighters dressed as Santa Claus, an elf, a reindeer, or a superhero, just like the needs of children during Nikolaus time are always considered important by the fire department.
