- Copper cable worth about 50,000 euros stolen
Unknown perpetrators stole copper cables worth approximately 50,000 euros from a construction site in the Emsland district. The thieves were active in Papenburg from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning, as the police reported. The police have initiated investigations and are now seeking witnesses.
The stolen copper cables were meant for an electrical installation at the construction site. Despite the ongoing construction, the site was left vulnerable due to the absence of security personnel.
