Cooperation between Condor and Emirates: Easier transfers
The German leisure airline Condor has entered into a cooperation with the Arab airline Emirates. Passengers of both airlines can now use connecting flights with standardized tickets and through-checked baggage. The corresponding interline agreement was presented by both companies at the Dubai Airshow on Tuesday.
Lufthansa's competitor Emirates flies from Dubai to the German airports of Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. There, seamless transfers to 57 Condor destinations in Europe and the Caribbean are now possible.
In the other direction, Condor customers will have access to Emirates flights between Frankfurt and Dubai. Twelve connecting destinations in Asia, Australasia, Africa and the Middle East will then be available.
In spring, Condor announced direct flights from Berlin to Dubai for the first time for the current winter flight schedule, but then canceled them at short notice. Emirates has been trying in vain for years to obtain take-off and landing rights in the German capital.
This cooperation between Condor and Emirates benefits air traffic significantly, as passengers can now seamlessly connect flights with standardized tickets and through-checked baggage between their destinations. Due to this partnership, Condor customers now have access to Emirates flights between Frankfurt and Dubai, opening up twelve connecting destinations in various regions.
