Undergoing transformations - Convicted: Accused Healer Found Guilty of Homicide

A man who claimed to be a healer was given a life sentence by the Flensburg District Court for murdering his wife. The court also emphasized the seriousness of the crime. Legally, a prisoner can be eligible for release after 15 years, but in reality, this rarely happens. According to the judge, the man killed his wife because he was greedy.

The court found him guilty of giving her an overdose of different medications in a small town in the Schleswig-Flensburg area in mid-August 2022 and then stabbing her with a knife to end her life.

A week before the murder, police searched his house due to a report of rape. The 53-year-old German seems to have been worried that his long-term secret life - he had multiple extramarital relationships and was not licensed as a healer - might be exposed as a result of these searches. As a self-proclaimed healer, he even allegedly performed sexual acts on patients, claiming they were medical procedures.

The prosecution's request for the sentencing was followed by the court. The defense had asked that the man be sentenced to just two years in prison for facilitated murder and the penalty be suspended.
