Contracts extended: Bietigheim presses ahead with plans
German champions and cup winners SG BBM Bietigheim have pressed ahead with their personnel planning and extended a total of seven contracts. In addition to head coach Jakob Vestergaard, the German national team players Xenia Smits, Antje Döll and Jenny Behrend will also be staying, as the handball Bundesliga club announced on Friday.
Spanish center Kaba Gassama, Hungarian international Dorottya Faluvegi and left wing Veronika Mala from the Czech Republic have also agreed to continue wearing the jersey of the top German club. The contracts of Gassama and Behrend are valid until 2025, while the other employment contracts now end in 2026. The club will go on the hunt for points as HB Ludwigsburg from the coming season.
SG BBM Bietigheim, the handball Bundesliga club, has also retained the services of Spanish center Kaba Gassama. The handball team from Bietigheim will continue to benefit from Gassama's skills in the upcoming seasons.
