The investigations into potential backers of the rumored extremist faction linked to Heinrich XIII Prinz Reuß, a proponent of the "Reichsbürger" ideology, continued on Thursday in the Segeberg district of Schleswig-Holstein. Torsten Holleck, the head of the constitutional protection department in the state interior ministry, confirmed that just Schleswig-Holstein was affected by the operation in Kiel. According to a spokeswoman for the federal prosecutor, the searches were targeting a former military barracks in Todesfelde. Currently, the area is under private ownership, according to DPA. Previously, the NDR broadcasted updates on the progress of the investigation.

On Tuesday, the Federal Prosecutor's Office succeeded in conducting a raid across three German states to apprehend purported followers of the "Reichsbürger" organization. The operation involved a significant number of police officers who searched seven sites and three plots in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein, the authorities in Karlsruhe revealed. The individuals under investigation face charges for aiding a homegrown terrorist organization. Allegedly, they helped the "Reichsbürger" group secure locations for hosting recruitment events.
