Döbeln: A Town in Germany Undergoes Prostitution Absence - Continued search for females; school monitor examines situation.
A nine-year-old named Valeriia went missing on Monday around 6:50 am, and was reportedly en route to school. Authorities believed she had taken the bus for a short distance but ended up missing from her class. The police appealed for help on Wednesday, urging the public to check their gardens, cellars, garages, and sheds for any signs of Valeriia.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education and Schools was in on the investigation. Spokesperson Clemens Arndt explained that they were inquiring as to why the parents were not notified of their child's absence. As a routine protocol when a student is absent, the school is expected to contact the parents. They now needed to determine why this standard procedure did not work in Valeriia's case. Typically, the schools would reach out to the parents by the second hour after school starting. Earlier, the "Bild" paper had written about the ongoing probe by the school supervisory agency.
