The automotive supplier Continental is opening its new company headquarters in Hanover on Wednesday. The new building, which will cost more than 100 million euros, will provide jobs for 2,400 employees. Lower Saxony's Minister President Stephan Weil (SPD) is also expected to attend the opening on Wednesday evening. Conti has been building the complex since 2018. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and a shortage of materials, the building was completed two years later than originally planned.
