Construction worker falls several meters and dies
A 55-year-old man fell from a staircase during construction work on the Nuremberg exhibition grounds and died. It was not yet clear why the man fell on Thursday, as the police reported on Friday. He subsequently fell about four meters through the eye of the stairs. He succumbed to his head injuries shortly afterwards. The police are now investigating.
