Traffic - Construction work causes obstruction on the A1

The overtaking lane of the Autobahn 1 between the Neustadt-Pelzerhaken and Lensahn junctions has to be closed for a short time for repair work. This was announced by Autobahn GmbH des Bundes on Tuesday. Traffic will be guided in one lane in each direction for a length of around 200 meters. Due to the lack of hard shoulders in this area, traffic would only have 3.25 meters of remaining lane width in some places.

According to a spokesperson, the reason for the repair is damage to a culvert that was discovered after the rainfall of the past few days. The closure is expected to be completed on Tuesday evening.
