Crooks went after copper wires, digging up buried lines at a building project in Stockstadt am Main, leading to substantial damage. Part of the wires were linked together, according to a police representative. The total cost of the damage surpassed 100,000 euros. The value of the copper wires alone was at around 20,000 euros.

The burglary happened between the afternoon of Monday and early Tuesday at the construction site located in the Aschaffenburg region. It's possible they employed a vehicle to extract the wires. Authorities are looking for potential witnesses.
