Incident at construction site's traffic management area - Construction equipment mistakenly digs into a vehicle while laborers are present.
At a building site in Upper Franconia, a bulldozer operator had an accident involving a delivery truck filled with construction workers. The shovel of his machine clashed with the truck's left front, resulting in minor injuries for a 20-year-old, as per authorities' statements.
As per the statement, three builders were cruising through the construction site on a main road in Coburg on Tuesday, when the driver of the bulldozer apparently didn't see the truck and collided with it using the bulldozer's bucket.
The driver of the truck experienced slight injuries to their leg and was rushed to the hospital. The local Coburg law enforcement is currently probing into the bulldozer operator, suspected of reckless disregard for safety.
The construction workers hailed from different parts of Germany, with one of them originating from Bavaria. After the accident, the affected construction site was moved to a new location near Bavaria's scenic Alps.
