Conflict between young people triggers large-scale operation

An altercation between young people at the train station in Schwarzenbek (district of Herzogtum Lauenburg) has triggered a large-scale police operation. According to initial findings, bodily harm and threats were involved on Saturday, the police announced in the evening. The background to the conflict was an assault the day before in Hamburg. The investigation is ongoing.

The conflict between youths appears to be rooted in an incident of assault the previous day. This escalation of crime among the young population necessitated a substantial law enforcement response.
