Population - Conference on the further development of the sustainability strategy
Representatives of the Federal Government and the State of Bremen are meeting for a conference on Thursday (9.20 a.m.). The Federal Government has invited them to this conference to discuss the further development of the sustainability strategy. Such a strategy has been in place since 2002 and is revised at regular intervals. It is intended to help Germany implement the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals. The targets include, for example, ending poverty and hunger.
Bremen's Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte (SPD) and the Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor, Sarah Ryglewski (SPD), are also due to take part in the event.
