Movie - Competition films wanted for Neisse Film Festival

The Neisse Film Festival in the border triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic is still looking for films for its 21st edition. Feature films, documentaries and short films can still be submitted until 31 December, as organizer Michael Lippold announced on Wednesday. Productions from the years 2023 and 2024 that were produced or co-produced in at least one of the three countries Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic are eligible for the competition. The films will be selected by April 2024.

The Neisse Film Festival has been held annually in May since 2004. In 2024, there will once again be ten Neisse fish, the prize sculptures designed by Strahwald artist Andreas Kupfer. This is associated with prize money totaling 26,000 euros. In addition to the best films in each category and the audience favorites, the best acting performance, the best screenplay and the best production design will also be awarded prizes.

The 21st Neisse Film Festival will take place from May 14 to 19, 2024.
