Fixed - Companies still cautious about Christmas parties in Thuringia

Companies in Thuringia have been reluctant to book Christmas parties so far. Companies are currently still cautious, said Dirk Ellinger, Managing Director of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (Dehoga) in Thuringia. However, according to Ellinger, restaurateurs are assuming that some companies will still book Christmas parties at short notice - there is capacity for this.

According to Ellinger, business during the Christmas period is generally expected to be quite stable and similar to last year. There are already many reservations in some restaurants, but fewer in others. According to Ellinger, hotels in smaller towns or in the Thuringian Forest are selling more Christmas packages - with meals and overnight stays.
