US-American basketball player Deion Hammond, aged 25, has joined German team BG Göttingen after leaving MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. The club made the announcement on Tuesday, confirming that Hammond has been signed for a one-year contract. The guard has previously played in Romania and the Netherlands and featured in 21 Bundesliga games for Ludwigsburg, where he scored an average of 5.8 points per game.
