Second-tier German football league - Cologne prolongs deal with U17 world champion Harchaoui.

FC Cologne has renewed the contract of Fayssal Harchaoui, a talented German player who won the U17 World Cup. The deal is long-term, as shared by the Bundesliga club on Friday. The precise length of the contract, however, remains undisclosed.

The 18-year-old midfielder participated in 17 games for the U19 team of Cologne in the A-Juniors division of the Bundesliga. Additionally, he played a significant role in earning the title of European champions with the German U17. But, he hasn't made his professional debut yet.

Excited about the new contract, Harchaoui said, "I am a Cologne youth and it feels incredible to play for such a huge club. I want to repay their trust in me by delivering outstanding performances and showing my full potential. The past year with these two international titles has been amazing for me and given me a significant boost."
