Freeway 3 - Collision at the end of a traffic jam: Two critically injured
Two people suffered life-threatening injuries and three others were slightly injured in a four-vehicle accident on the Autobahn 3 near Sankt Augustin on Monday. According to the police in Cologne, a motorhome hit the end of a traffic jam before the Bonn/Siegburg junction. The 58-year-old driver and the 55-year-old female passenger were critically injured. There were further collisions in a chain reaction.
The camper van hit a tow truck in which two occupants aged 38 and 58 were slightly injured. This car hit the car of a 54-year-old woman, who was slightly injured. Her car crashed into a truck in which nobody was injured. Traffic on the A3 in the direction of Cologne was closed from the Siebengebirge junction.
