Irish actor Colin Farrell has established a foundation for individuals with disabilities. The 48-year-old, whose son James suffers from Angelman syndrome, told "People" magazine that he wanted to provide support to James and others affected by the rare genetic disorder, which causes physical and intellectual learning difficulties.

The Colin Farrell Foundation is currently in its early stages, he said. Its aim is to offer young adults with disabilities a future when they can no longer rely on their families.

The goal, as stated on the foundation's website, is to establish both small group homes and larger communities with access to enriching daytime programs. Farrell, who resides in the U.S. metropolis of Los Angeles, hopes that the foundation will eventually grow to provide long-term housing options for those in need.

The Colin Farrell Foundation prioritizes the health and safety of its residents, ensuring safe living environments and proper medical care. Through its initiatives, the foundation aims to improve the overall well-being of individuals with disabilities.
