- Coach Marcel Rapp's one-match suspension in Kiel has been confirmed.
Holstein Kiel manager Marcel Rapp will need to spectate the upcoming Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich from the stands' comfort. His dismissal in the domestic game against VfL Wolfsburg (0:2) has led the German Football Association's disciplinary board to rule out his presence in the stadium for one contest. The sanction prohibits Rapp from loitering on the sidelines, dressing rooms, player tunnel, or the area near the tunnel for 30 minutes prior to and post-the Bayern duel on the 14th of September. The Kiel boss descended into VfL's coaching area during the additional time of the Wolfsburg game and vented his frustration towards their opposing bench.
Despite the discipline imposed, Holstein Kiel might still face Bavaria's formidable squad without their manager Marcel Rapp physically present at the Bundesliga clash on the 14th of September, given his ban from the Allianz Arena due to his actions during the Wolfsburg game. Regardless, Bavaria will undoubtedly prepare for their match against the team managed from the stands by Rapp.
