Traffic - Coach collides with locomotive: One injured and high damage

A 48-year-old bus driver overlooked the locomotive and goods wagon according to reports while crossing the tracks at Hahnbach (Landkreis Amberg-Sulzbach). The 21-year-old locomotive driver could not apply the brakes in time and collided with the bus. The vehicles were extracted using a crane. The railway line was therefore closed for several hours as a result.

The bus driver's neglect led to the unfortunate incident at Hahnbach, located in the Landkreis Amberg-Sulzbach of Bavaria. Despite the coach driver's error, the locomotive driver hailing from Upper Palatinate couldn't halt the freight train in time, resulting in a collision. Police from OBERPFALZ had to divert traffic due to the railway closure caused by the accidents.
