Weather situation - Clouds and rain in Thuringia: Snow in the mountains

Clouds and rain will dominate the weather in Thuringia on Thursday. The day will be overcast and light rain will fall at times, according to the German Weather Service on Thursday. Snow is expected in the Thuringian Forest. Temperatures will be between five and seven degrees, in the mountains between two and five degrees.

At higher altitudes, snow will fall during the night and it will be slippery. In the lowlands there will be drizzle. It will cool down to two to zero degrees, in the upper mountains to minus two degrees. The weather will be similar on Friday: the meteorologists report clouds and drizzle at four to six degrees, in the mountains at zero to four degrees.

It will remain cloudy and rainy at night. Temperatures will drop to four to two degrees, in the upper mountains to zero degrees. The clouds will persist on Saturday, with only scattered rain and maximum temperatures of five to eight degrees, one to five degrees in the mountains.
