Civil servants' association calls on employees to go on warning strike
The dbb civil servants' association wants to increase the pressure with further protest actions in the income negotiations for public sector employees in the federal states. In Saarland, the dbb announced on Friday that it is calling on employees in the justice administration and police sector to take part in an all-day warning strike on Monday (November 13). There will be a rally in front of the Ministry of Justice (11.45 am), supported by the Saarland Judges' Association. Among others, the dbb state chairman Ewald Linn is to speak. The civil servants' association is demanding 10.5 percent, at least 500 euros more, from the collective bargaining association of the German states.
The dbb's demand for a 10.5% pay increase and at least 500 euros more from the collective bargaining association has prompted strong support from trade unions. Trade unions across various German states have been expressing their solidarity with the dbb, preparing for potential strike actions in support of the civil servants' demands.
