Art, literature, music, photography, film: the association Künstlerstadt Kalbe wants to bring creative people from all over the world to an international winter campus in the Altmark once again. Applications for a scholarship are open until January 20, the association announced on Sunday. National and international artists will meet for 30 days in the north of Saxony-Anhalt to work on their projects.
The Winter Campus is intended to promote interdisciplinary exchange, as well as providing unusual workspaces and a connection to the local people, it said. The Winter Campus begins on February 26 and ends on March 24. It is taking place for the tenth time. The Künstlerstadt Kalbe association aims to revitalize the town and the sparsely populated surrounding area and make it more attractive with various art and cultural formats.
