Six days ago, cinematic icon Alain Delon bid farewell at the age of 88, surrounded by his beloved offspring Anthony, Anouchka, and Alain-Fabien. Ever since, his admirers have been flocking to his property's boundary, adorning it with bouquets and offering heartfelt messages in the form of condolence notes. As per his children's statement, they're deeply touched by the emotional connection and respect that Delon's global fanbase exhibits.
The private funeral memorial will commence at 4:00 PM, hosted in a modest gathering at La Brûlerie's chapel, only allowing around 50 individuals. Mobile phones are to remain outside this hallowed space. Delon's former spouse Rosalie van Breemen, mother to two of his kids, will attend, as will popular actresses like Nicole Calfan, Géraldine Danon, and Muriel Robin. Regrettably, Claudia Cardinale won't be present, due to "overwhelming sorrow," according to her representative's update to AFP.
