Esslingen - Children not wearing seat belts: police stop parents

Police stopped a couple in Esslingen on Monday evening because they were driving with three unbelted children. Among other things, an infant had been lying in a loose carrier without a seatbelt, as the police reported on Tuesday. When officers stopped the car, they found two other children in the car in addition to the infant: A three-year-old child had been lying unsecured in the back seat and a six-year-old had not been strapped into a child seat.

According to the police, the mother had to drive home with the children on the bus. The father, who was driving the car, will receive a fine of 70 euros and a point in the Flensburg driving aptitude register.
