The operation of schools is increasingly supported by teachers who enter the profession from other fields. They have become an indispensable part of the educational landscape.
The teaching supply is also currently unsatisfactory, according to the Ministry of Education. It has deteriorated slightly compared to the previous year across all school types and is currently at 94%. The goal of the CDU, SPD, and FDP is to achieve a supply of 103%.
The schools in Saxony-Anhalt must also consider the needs and learning styles of the numerous children enrolled, ensuring a quality education for all. With the new school year, the Ministry of Education is also focusing on attracting more teachers to address the ongoing teacher shortage.
