During the summer holidays in Berlin, kids can attend free swimming lessons. These courses will run for five days and cover safe swimming techniques. The Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family made the announcement on Wednesday. Children in primary school grades 3 to 6 and secondary school grades 7 to 10 can participate. They'll swim for 45 minutes daily for the duration of the course. A total of 3,000 spots are open for these lessons.
