A boy has been hit and injured by a car in Berlin-Marienfelde. The eleven-year-old suffered a fracture to his head and was taken to hospital by emergency services, police said on Saturday. According to the information available so far, the 68-year-old driver had turned right from Weskammstraße into Hildburghauser Straße on Friday evening when a ball suddenly rolled onto the road. The child is said to have run after the ball and was hit by the car, according to the police. Officers are still investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
